While both SBTN and SBTi focus on science-based targets, SBTi primarily addresses greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate change, guiding companies in setting emission reduction targets aligned with the Paris Agreement goals. SBTN, on the other hand, expands this approach to encompass broader environmental aspects, including biodiversity, land, ocean, freshwater, and climate, providing a holistic framework for companies and cities to manage their impacts on nature.
